The Colorado Department of Transportation is one of 35 semi-finalists in a tellurian competition, and one of dual semi-finalists in Colorado, for a new record that would yield a safer and faster commute.

Researchers report Hyperloop One as a arrange of “bullet train” that can transport a stretch from Los Angeles to San Francisco, routinely a five-and-a-half-hour drive, in usually 30 minutes.

“It’s roughly like a tube that’s above a Earth,” pronounced CDOT Executive Director Shailen Bhatt.

Bhatt pronounced a tube is a dangling opening tube that will pierce people and things inside capsules during a speed of adult to 700 mph.

“You can put people in them. You can put burden in them. There’s a lot of applications. So it’s kind of like a railroad- usually a integrate hundred years later, and it’s a new technology,” pronounced Bhatt.

CDOT is proposing construction on a new record from DIA to Greeley, while Colorado’s other semi-finalist, a devise called Colorado Hyperloop, would build a trail using adult and down a Front Range.

“We wish we win. We got a one in 35 possibility of winning. But we’re going adult opposite cities and corridors opposite a world,” pronounced Bhatt. “Even if we don’t win though, this is something that’s going to be partial of a destiny in transportation, so we’ll really be looking during it.”

Of a 35 semi-finalists, Hyperloop One will name about a dozen winners in May. If CDOT is one of those, they devise to start construction immediately.
