Hospitality Service Group LLC is seeking for 45 housekeepers full time temporary, for Myrtle Beach SC from 04/20/2017 – 10/10/2017.
Employer will provide the equipment and supplies to perform duties without any charge or deposit. Employer will provide or pay for the worker’s cost of return transportation and daily subsistence. The amount for daily subsistence will be at least $12.09 per day during travel to a maximum of $51.00 per day with receipts. If needed but not required employer will be provide an onsite training.
Responsibilities include obtaining the list of vacant rooms which needs to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check outs or discharges, cleaning rooms, empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, clean bathrooms & kitchen. Vacuuming and dusting, removing the old linens and taking them to laundry, providing new linen and towels for rooms. Advising manager, desk clerk or administrative personnel of rooms ready for occupancy. Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. Clean windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary. Hang draperies, and dust window blinds. Investigating complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and taking corrective actions, examining room, halls and lobbies to determine need for repair and placement of furniture or equipment and making recommendations to management.
Able to speak, read and write English, high school diploma or equivalent, subject to drug test and back ground check. Drug test and background check during the pre-hire process and will be carried out equally between the U.S. workers and the H-2B workers. Must be flexible to work 7 am – 3 pm, 3 pm – 11 pm, shifts. Employer will use Single work week for computing the wages.
Wage offered are $8.93 per hour, overtime available, OT wage $13.40 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Deductions from the paycheck, only required by law.
If 50% of period of employment completed employer will reimburse by check for the transportation and the substance from the place from which the workers has come for the employer. H2b worker are reimbursed within the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other fee including mandated by government.
