Moustakas falls in initial turn of a Home Run Derby

MIAMI  — Miguel Sano of a Minnesota Twins has reached a semifinals of a Home Run Derby, commanding Kansas City’s Mike Moustakas 11-10 in a opening matchup Monday night during Marlins Park.

Sano went initial and connected on 9 homers in his four-minute subsidy — afterwards got dual some-more in a 30-second reward period, interjection to him attack adequate subordinate home runs of 440 or more.

Moustakas could have used those additional 30 seconds.

He homered on his initial swing, afterwards slumped for a bit before rallying to strike his 10th with about a notation left. Only line drives and pop-ups were left for him though, and Sano advanced.

Sano’s longest homer was 470 feet.
