Beijing is rising a new military force directed during rebellious a determined haze problem.

This comes after a month of quite serious atmosphere peculiarity that left a collateral and dozens of other Chinese cities blanketed in thick, brownish-red smog.

The city’s behaving mayor, Cai Qi, announced over a weekend that a new environmental military force will moment down on polluters such as “open-air barbeques, rubbish incineration, biomass burning, [and] dirt from roads,” according to a state-run Xinhua news agency. He didn’t offer any some-more specifics about a squad.

Cai also announced other measures to tackle a determined problem, including shutting a city’s usually coal-fired plant. In 2017, “coal expenditure will be cut by 30 percent to reduction than 7 million tonnes” and “another 300,000 high-polluting aged vehicles will be phased out,” a news group reports.
